“Storytelling is my life. I use stories to explore what I ache to understand about this strange, often confounding, yet wondrous world we live in — and to make human connections, both with my characters and my readers. But my focus is always on the story, on the people who inhabit my tales.”
~ Sally Wiener Grotta

Sally’s fiction includes the novels The Winter Boy (nominated for the prestigious Locus Award) and Jo Joe (a Jewish Book Council Network book). Her short fiction has appeared in the North Atlantic Review. She is currently working on two new novels and various short stories.

“Grotta has an amazing writing style and… this wonderful ability to transport you.”
